POST 3: Assessing your placement

Prompt:

Using the following criteria, please assess the state of your placement up to today and going forward from today.  Please include details as to why you chose the category for your placement.

My thoughts:

Placement #1:   French Teacher
Up to now, our placement with French Teacher has been LOW USAGE.
We have met every Monday at lunch to assist her with various activities, ranging from a tour of the Google Docs suite to maintenance with her existing Weebly site.

With the exception of various small tasks and tutorials, we expect the remainder of the placement to be  LOW USAGE. The one exception, however, would be if French Teacher asked us to help integrate Google Docs into her curriculum and teach it to students, which she has not done to date.

Placement #2:   English Teacher
We have met once with English Teacher. In this meeting, we discussed three projects.

1. The creation of a detailed Weebly site for all classes
2. Assistance integrating the Library's SMART Board into her proofreading workshops.
3. The developmental and execution of a multi-media cumulative assignment for her Grade 10 MaCS English students.

Due to her being away for various trips and activities, we have not been able to have a second meeting. Therefore, our placement to date has been LOW USAGE. However, the plan we drew out indicates that this placement will become MEDIUM USAGE as time goes on.
